Beware the Flytraps !

Newer Pictures: Feb 2006:

You can see that there are notably more traps than in earlier pictures. Unfortunately, I didn't snap any pictures over the summer, when Audrey here was having her heyday. I counted over 2 dozen healthy, large traps at that time. You may also notice the one yellow trap, sticking out like a sore thumb. I'm not sure why this is, but in the last picture, you can see that the trap's "neck" looks damaged. There's also another trap with some blackish discoloration, I hope that's not disease !

Here's a nice close up of the stems, or rather, ex-stems, that I cut off this month. She's starting to explode again with growth, and one other thing really puzzles me; I've never seen a trap sprout up from anywhere other than the very center of the plant, and yet I now have two traps popping up from the outer perimeter of the pot.
Could I have two plants here all of a sudden ?!? I think she needs a transplant to a larger home.

This is a good close up of the yellow trap, and the damaged looking neck.    Medic !!
